Christmas stockings!

      So my family is coming tomorrow for a pre-Christmas celebration and Charles came up with the most brilliant idea. He suggest that we make stocking!!  As the night went on the idea transformed from making mini paper stockings to fill with candy to actually busting out the sewing machine and sewing stocking for everyone in my family!!! Super cool.

We traced a stocking that we had in the house onto a brown paper bag, then we proceeded to trace these on the fabric with a sharpie. Charles was in charge of all stocking outlines and cutting while I was busying sewing away.

Over the course of evening we completed 6 wonderful stockings. I am now inspired to sew stocking for our family... starting next Christmas with our mini stocking for baby!

We have a blog!

Tis the season! We're preparing for Christmas and the Pobee-Mensah's now have a blog :) As we are beginning our new life we are excited to be able to share with all our friends and family the exciting thing going on here in Steubenville, Ohio. Normally we would just invite you over, but the long drive seems to create a bit of a problem.  We hope to share with you all the great adventures, and mishaps of beginning a new marriage and family.
